Hello,I have successfully configured a BYO SIP Trunk to work with a Russian provider (Plusofon).

My setup: I have an Asterisk server in a Russian datacenter (IP: 85.198.108.143). This Asterisk successfully registers with my provider and can make outbound calls. I have created a Credential in Vapi (My-Asterisk-Gateway, ID: 69e8ecd3-f719-49f5-95d-a7f6-9a74e295145f) with my server's IP. I have created a Phone Number (My-Moscow-Number, +74952305170) and linked it to this credential....

Structured Outputs 404 Error, Vapi Support then removed Structured Outputs

Then some vapi support agent named King said he fixed the issue when all he did was REMOVE structured outputs from my dashboard. When I told the agent that wasn't my problem he stopped replying. WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THIS VERY SIMPLE ISSUE?...

Query tool Issue

Been using the query tool for knowledge retrieval and most of the time or all the time, the responses are incorrect. I am using docx and PDF both in very structured format for retrieval. Has anyone seen any success with the query tool ? And how do I get correct answers from this or what's an alternative for fast knowledge retrieval?...

I'm not exactly sure what the problem is, but for some reason I cannot get my AI to hand off all. And I've tried my real number, I've tried a Google Voice number, I've tried Twilio forwarding.

Veriff asking for government ID again

I logged in, provided my ID and selfie which was accepted, but as soon as I tried to log in again, it asked for verification again. I provided it again, but the same thing happened. Transfer Call "Warm transfer -Experimental" not working

I set everything up correct, and every other transfer mode is working correct as described in the docs, but when i try the warm transfer -experimental, which i want to use, to have the function of a fallback, if nothing is reachable, i do not even get the call forwarded at all. Why is it not working? Any major problems with that currently? It just keeps ringing on one end, and the destination does not receive any call....

Can we create a workflow object and execute it directly in our code?

I’ve been experimenting with the Web SDK. Right now, I’m calling vapi.start with a workflowId that I created beforehand in the dashboard. However, I’d like to avoid creating a new workflow in the web app, I would like to manage this in the code. Is it possible to define a workflow object directly in my code and pass it to vapi.start (instead of passing a workflowId)? Or do workflows always need to be created via the API/dashboard first? I would like to define the workflow programmatically and then execute it to manage for example the user prefered language, etc.......

Hey! Was testing out VAPI and doing some tire kicking. Looking at the example Appointment Scheduler workflow. Tried testing the Transfer Call node type to do a warm transfer to a number but it just fails with An error occurred in this call: call.in-progress.error-transfer-failed but I can't find any further info. Could someone help point me in the right direction?
