Questions on Voice Cloning, Pricing, and Call Scaling with Vapi
Hi Vapi Team,
I’m currently exploring voice cloning for our dispatching workflow and wanted to clarify a few points:
Voice Cloning with Vapi
Does Vapi support voice cloning directly through your API?
If so, how can we implement it for our dispatchers?
Alternatively, if I integrate ElevenLabs with my own API key, how does this work in practice? Would I be billed separately by ElevenLabs for voice usage, and still pay Vapi for call handling?
Dedicated Phone Numbers
For my clients, I’d like to allocate separate dedicated phone numbers. Is this possible through Vapi?
What’s the cost per dedicated number?
Are there any restrictions or limits on how many dedicated numbers we can have?
Concurrent Calls / Scaling
If I have 15 clients (each with a dedicated number) and they each need to handle 1-3 simultaneous calls, what are the concurrency limits within Vapi?
Is there a recommended approach for managing this level of scaling?
I’d greatly appreciate detailed guidance on these topics so I can plan the integration and costs effectively.
