API call during call referencing the callers phone number

I can see the correct caller number in the call logs under customer.number (e.g. "+6140…") and it’s present as soon as the call starts, but inside the Assistant runtime I can’t access it reliably with {{phone}} or {{customer.number}} when calling tools. Is there a supported way to reference the live customer.number directly in Assistant prompts/tools during the call, or do I need to always pass it in from a Workflow? I had the lookup call tool working in a workflow but when I try it in an assistant it doesnt work. Have tried multiple variables like {{phone}} as well....

Verification issue

i signed in with my usual details and it asked me to do Veriff verification. I completed that and veriff said it will take 1-3 mins and the window will be closed. But that never happened and as i tried to login then the veriff verification pop up is coming again despite completing the verification. Please solve, it is urgent.

VAPI, How to disable call auto retry

I am facing an issue where if my customer hangs up a call I made (POST /call), Vapi retries the call in a matter of a few minutes. This surprised me as I return a blanket 200 to all websocket messages, and I have no retry logic in my own server message handler. This is an issue for me because I would not like to retry calls when if they fail under certain conditions. I would be very happy if you could provide directions....

VAPI Cannot Hear Me

While running any type of test whether from the Workflow or the regular agent the system cannot hear me whatsoever and just ends the call. This has been going on since at least ten days ago. Of course I selected Allow when the prompt asked if I wished to allow VAPI to use my mic. And yes, I have credits. Same problem with the VAPI AI agent support chat, Harry cannot hear me and therefore does not respond....

Issue with recurring payments failing on our account

We’re having an issue with the credit card on our account. For some reason we don’t understand, the card we had set up started failing payments. We replaced it a few weeks ago, but now the new card (which had been working perfectly until today) also started failing. We’d like to know if this could be an issue on VAPI’s side, or if it’s the bank declining the recurring payments. Our account is set to “Pay as you go” with recurring $10 charges. Because this account has a high call volume, we usually see between 2–6 recharges per day. Could you please check the logs on your end before we contact the bank?...
