JoinAgent does not respond after using a tool
I have an agent instrumented with a few tools. These tools are captured by my web app, when I detect a tool call, I fetch some data and pass it to the assistant. It used to work flawlessly for a few weeks.
But for the past few days the agent began to intermittently go quiet and not respond after fetching the data. I would have to manually ask it "let me know once you find something" and then it would respond.
Today the problem appears to be fixed, but I would like to understand this problem better in order to make sure it does not happen in production....
Is there a way to include the caller's phone number in end-of-call report
Without asking the caller, how do I extract the caller's phone number and put it in the end-of-call report

gpt-4o-transcribe degraded transcription quality
The gpt-4o-transcribe transcriber has been producing unacceptably bad output over the last day or so. It is noticeably worse than it has been performing and is completely garbling even the voice model output from openai voices. Other transcribers seem to be working fine for me. See screenshot for an example.

Verif just hangs
Im trying to log into my account but the verification solution doesnt work. Is there a way to get this working?
is there any way to stop the voice agent saying "Just a sec"?
Every time my agent calls a tool it says "just a sec" is there any way to disable that?
Query Tool is down - Seeing too many requests error
For some reason it just stopped working on me. I see Too many requests show up in the response details so maybe you guys need a different API key or something?

Dashboard is having lots of errors, takes multiple tries to edit tools, add assistants, etc
Constantly seeing errors that either say "Too many requests" or CORS errors, likely related to an internal error. Happens when clicking "Talk to assistant", or when editing and saving custom tools, or creating a new assistant. Clicking multiple times seems to eventually allow saving. Please fix.

hi guys, I have triggered my VAPI assistant using an API call from N8N, which has a json payload I would like to pass on to a VAPI tool. Is it possible to pass that original payload to custom tool?

No Audio from Non-Vapi Voices in Workflows
Hi All, creating a workflow for complex IVR menu handling. Workflow is running great, but when i switch any/all of the nodes from the default Vapi|Elliott voice to a third-party provider like Cartesia or Rime, there is no audio output. This is persisting across all calls made through the dashboard and outbound call trigger. The logs report "Rime websocket connected" and "Rime Voice request", but no actual audio.

identity issue
I’m currently locked out of my account due to an issue with identity verification. I’ve attempted the process multiple times, but it keeps getting stuck during processing and never completes.
This has left me unable to access my Vapi account, which I rely on for ongoing projects. Please look into this issue and advise on how I can regain access as soon as possible....

Transcript putting assistant message as a user message
Sometimes the transcript is putting the assistant response into the user message. We have the
modelOutputInMessagesEnabled
set to true because we don't want a transcription to run from the TTS output. It still seems like it is trying to transcribe that audio, though, and we wonder if this is what is causing the issue.Caller ID
How do I get VAPI to get the caller's phone number automatically to send an SMS instead of the assistant asking for the caller's phone number? I am using this in my prompt: SMS Policy
- Always send an SMS to the caller at the beginning of each call.
- Use the caller’s phone number from metadata: {{call.callerNumber}}.
- Do NOT ask the caller to provide their number unless {{call.callerNumber}} is missing....

Squad issue - not transferring call
I am trying to transfer a call via squads. The squad starts the call correctly, and then says it is transferring the call. The logs say that the system did transfer the call, but the call did not transfer. I have tried using the transfer call tool, and not using the transfer call tool, the same result happens each time.

Incoming SIP Call with Diversion header support?
I am looking at an application idea, it is for user to forward their mobile to a SIP number. a caller will call the mobile and it will be forward to this SIP number which answered by VAPI bot. Which type of Bot will load based on the number it is forwarding from.
For SIP side, there is this Diversion header, so I wonder if this process is possible, assuming I can find a SIP trunk that support passing Diversion header over....
VAPI Outage
Last week i was at a prospect. I wanted to give a demo.
But when I called VAPI, Vapi reacted ans the first conversation spoken like it should do. I said, I want some information about my servers. After that suddenly vapi ended my call.
Really weird, The day before i t was working fine. I did not change anything. Was there an outage last Thursday? Now I have something like, why using VAPI if it is unreliable? Do you have any answers for me?...
Urgent - Unable to verify
When I login to my account it asks for Veriff verification. I provided my drivers license and on my phone it said it was all submitted successfully. On my computer it says it's loading but never finishes. I'm unable to access my account and I need urgent help as I have a client I need to provide for. Thanks in advance.

Vapi Dashboard not showing cost breakdowns anymore
The Vapi dashboard no longer shows a complete breakdown of the costs for calls (i.e. TTS, STT, LLM etc), it's just "Vapi" costs, which isn't clear. How can I see the breakdowns that they used to provide?
