Vapi Dashboard not showing cost breakdowns anymore

The Vapi dashboard no longer shows a complete breakdown of the costs for calls (i.e. TTS, STT, LLM etc), it's just "Vapi" costs, which isn't clear. How can I see the breakdowns that they used to provide?

Hi Angus B,

You can now access detailed cost information per call using Call.costCall.cost and Call.costsCall.costs to get both the total and a breakdown of costs, including specific components like TTS, STT, and LLM. This was enhanced with updates from June 2025. If the dashboard's call cost breakdown is missing, ensure your account settings or current plan allow for full cost visibility, as limitations might exist based on your plan level (e.g., free or startup plans may not show detailed breakdowns).

For detailed visibility, it might be helpful to run a few test calls in a development environment as suggested in your related threads. Let me know if there's anything else you need help with.

Thanks Aniah, I'm aware that I can do this via the API, but this is so a non-technical user can see the breakdown. We do have a start up plan so that may be why we can't see the costs how we used to be able to
