- Check Availability: Query any connected GHL calendar for real-time openings.
- Create Contacts: Capture caller details and instantly add them as contacts in GoHighLevel.
- Book Appointments: Confirm a time and lock in the booking that is tied to the correct contact.
Imagine an inbound call from a potential client. Your agent can now handle the full interaction: qualify the lead, find a time, and book the slot.
Getting Started:
We’ve aimed for a straightforward setup, mirroring how you’d connect other tools like Google Calendar within Vapi:
- Link Your GoHighLevel Account:
Go to Dashboard → Keys and click Add GoHighLevel. Follow the prompts to authorize the connection.
- Enable GHL Calendar Tools: Visit Dashboard → Tools.
You’ll see 4 new tool options:
- Create Event
- Check Availability
- Create Contact
- Contact Get
- Add Tools to Your Assistant
When building or editing your assistant, attach these tools to its configuration. Then update the system prompt so the agent knows when and how to use them in conversation.
