QueryTool gets context but doesnt speak, (goes dead silent) until i speak....how do I fix this?

it gets the information, it doesnt answer....it goes silent...until i say something....

i tried the prompt to continue talking (didnt work)
i dont see any sync or async option neither in dashboard nor in API reference

please help

Switch to async: false to have it wait and speak the result, or manually push the response back if staying async..

there is no async toggle...in the dashboard...

i tried to use the API aswell there is no option to do that aswell...

Vapi has no async toggle in the dashboard, so you’ll set "async": false in the tool’s JSON config and return a valid toolCallId response for the assistant to wait and speak..

I solved it by resetting the tool messages to Default. using the tool update CURL on terminal.

the issue was with Tool messages, you know the messages you get when message starts, message completes, Once it reset it started working fine....
