When AI Voicebot uses QueryCall he gets context but doesnt speak, how do I fix this? (Testversion)

I gave my AI Caller a custom knowledge base (pdf) with under 300kb of context. At first i provided it as a file within the assistant, but he couldnt acess it. So i created a query tool call to the knowledgebase wihtin VAPI. Now I finally got the assistant to use the tool when i ask a question, but for some reason, after the tool returns the correct answer, he does not say it out loud. I have to ask again than he wont perform the toolcall anymore but will still answer correctly, any ideas why?

Expected return: as above described I expected the correct answers to my questions.

Actual response: AI didnt say anything. Only after asking a 2nd time i got the correct answer.

Switch it to synchronous async: falseasync: false, ensure your tool response is a clean JSON with resultsresults and no line breaks, and update the prompt to instruct the assistant to speak tool results aloud immediately..

My Vapi doesnt even show this option. Btw I am a, at best, low code developer/vibe coder. I have very limited understanding of programming. Also I dont really know where to find those settings in Vapi
