Can we add Previous Call Data as Context for Inbound Phone Calls

Hi VAPI Support Team,

We are currently using VAPI to manage inbound phone calls and would like to enhance the conversational continuity for returning users. Specifically, we’d like to know if there’s a way to include data from a previous call (e.g., summary, transcript, call outcome, user preferences) as context before a new inbound call begins.

Our goal is to feed this prior data into both the prompt and the first message, so the assistant can start the conversation with relevant context and better serve repeat callers.

Whether this is currently supported?
If so, what is the best way to pass previous call data into the prompt/initial context?
Any best practices or API documentation you can point us to?
