See video in real time?

Hi, I can't figure out how to see video in the browser in real time using the web sdk. I see video and video recording are enabled but I do not get any vapi.on('video') events. All I want to do is see my video on my screen as it is being recorded. I was hoping it was as easy as passing in a video element somewhere or capturing the video track but like I said, on(video) never gets called.
I do see the recorded video after the call is complete in the call json but I can not see the video as it is recording in real time.
