save only original audio

Greetings, I would like to store the audio recording on my s3 bucket. I know the vapi dashboard has integration with s3 but the dashboard configuration causes several files to be upload per 1 single audio call (stereo,mono etc...) and I want to save only the original audio. Is there any settings that can control what vapi uploads to my s3 so that only the original audio is saved as I'd like to avoid having extra data uploaded and deleting it myself.

To ensure only the stereo audio is uploaded to your S3 bucket, set the recording format in your assistant configuration like this:

Hey! By default, Vapi uploads multiple versions of each call (stereo, mono, etc.) to S3. To save only the original audio, you can adjust the call settings or use the API/webhooks to upload just that file. Are you using the dashboard upload or programmatic integration? This will help figure out the best way to avoid the extra files.

Hey! The dashboard doesn’t expose all settings to control which audio versions get uploaded, but I can assist you in configuring it so only the original file goes to S3. I can handle the setup directly without extra uploads. It’s a bit tricky via the dashboard alone, but I’ve done this before. We can discuss this privately and get it working quickly.
