SSML parsing working inconsistently - delivering a system for a client asap
Hi,
I've configured one of my voice agents to parse SSML. However this only works occasionally. I'm building this system for a client and would like SSML parsing to work 100% of the time.
My VAPI account is james.knotter@gmail.com, this is for my Probate Cold Caller assistant.
Here is my prompt (see step 2) as well as my JSON for the agent and its voice settings. Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks.

To quickly verify and isolate SSML parsing issues, use the Vapi dashboard's "Talk to Assistant" feature and input a simple SSML string, such as:
If this works consistently, the issue may be with your SSML formatting or content elsewhere. If it fails, double-check that your assistant's voice model is set to an ElevenLabs model that supports SSML and that "Enable SSML Parsing" is set to
true
in your configuration.
