send text tool not working 100%

I am testing vapi from the dashboard to see how useful would it be i configured a send text tool and configured a message to be said after the request is completed and then checked end the call option it is calling the tool and sending the text but it isnt speaking out the message and ending the call on its own any clue what i could be missing

It sounds like the assistant isn't speaking the post-tool message or ending the call because the actions may not be properly sequenced in a hook. Try adding a

tool.completed

Make sure the

endCall tool is enabled in your assistant's tools array. This should ensure the assistant speaks the message and then ends the call automatically after sending the text.

this tool is not working fine

i think this tool is not being completed properly
because it does not speak the request-complete message at all
and that is the next tool which is to end call never really hits
my call is end due to silence always

request-start message is still sometimes spoken

Hi, could you please provide a call id where you experienced this issue? We would like to review the logs to identify the cause.
