knowledge with chat

Hi,
Do you have any thoughts as to when you will get chat working with the query KB (using query tool or using files)?

Currently in the docs it says that this is not supported...but for some customers use cases this is pretty imporatant.

Currently, chat with the query knowledge base (using the query tool or files) is not supported in Vapi. The documentation states: “Query tool for knowledge-base searches is not yet supported” in chat functionality. There is no official ETA or workaround available at this time. If you need this feature, consider reaching out to Vapi support to share your use case and request updates on future support.

You can create a function tool that queries a knowledge base for use in voice assistants, but this is not officially supported for chat yet. Here’s an example of how to define a function tool with a knowledge base attached:

Note: This approach works for voice assistants, but chat integration with the query tool is not currently supported according to the latest documentation.
