AI AGENT ISN'T SPEAKING THE RETURNED WEBHOOK MESSAGE LOUDLY

Hey,

I have created an assistant which on user's request makes a tool call and then reads the output of the tool call out loud.
But there is some kind of a bug here and these things are currently happening -

Call logs show that the tool is called and the output of the tool is also correct, and it is returned to the assistant.
when I use the chat feature its working 100% and returning the webhook response.
But it's not reading the output of the tool out loud on the phone call or the web call (But the call logs of both show's the correct tool call and correct output too)
When I ask the assistant to suggest the next available slots, it is returning the slots but not speaking them loudly just stays silent, so when I ask what happened, the assistant mentions " Here is the available slots" and then stays quite but the returned message is correctly and includes the full message.

this is caused by the assistant prompt isn't featured well or?

SO why is this happening, to clarify it was working well for 3-4 months, the same way I am using it but suddenly this happened.

Can anyone help me with this? I am not even able to debug this thing because there is no error as such.

example: @Vapi Support Bot now lets say i called the asistant so "Hi i would like to book an appointmet" it replies: what time do you prefer so i mention "lets go for tomorrow 2 pm" / here it should return the webhook message loudly which comes from the backend which is the "time is available would you like to confirm?" here is the problem . the message comes back but the assistant stays quite. to clarify when I run the same exact scenario but with the chat feature it says the message clearly and works well

yeah even tho iadded to the assistant prompt that speak the webhook message clearly: it spoke once and then again went to same issue

As you can see the first pic is the chat log which works correctly, and the second pic I am using the same exact setup but a voice call and it returns the message but keeps silent. / i think it's a prompt issue ryt? if not what it can be ?

@Beelzebub I mentioned in the assistant prompt that "After every tool is called, say the webhook message returned." and it worked well but I don't know is that was the issue or it will get confused again.

I made a reverse and checked all the variables and the scenario, it was a wrong variable used which was causing this issue, which was the tool id thats why it was sometimes mentioning the message and some times stays silent

i think because currently like someone on your team said that Workflow is underdevelopment , so when I use apiRequest node it doesnt send the full payload like toolFunction node , so my n8n cant send anything back .

Like for example when I use Function node , it doesnt have extract variables from Api call , but apiRequest does , so when I use Function node , it wasnt able to receive the result from api calls , but when I use apiRequest node it doesnt send full payload data like Function node .

If you aren't able to define the extracted variables in the UI, you can still define them manually within the API.

Could you please provide a call id where this occurs so we can review the logs on our side and better understand the issue?
