SMS enabled under /phone-numbers tab makes my assistant text the initial prompt to my customers.

My twilio phone numbers get imported into VAPI. It seems like each phone numbers have a toggle for SMS enabled. When it's turned on and a customer texts that nbr, it will respond with whatever's set for the corresponding assistant and log that under Chat Logs. Why? Chat and Texts is completely different. It makes no sense. You can see this chat ID: 1928e5c0-73d8-4701-bc50-1361dc6b924e or this one: 1ff843ef-e2c7-47bc-b646-897b474927ce What needs to be done so that it doesn't happen? Shouldn't chat logs be for actual chats?

Customer Support Team Hey Mistermanu, in order for SMS to be logged separate from chats we would need to change our infrastructure in how we handle SMS with assistants. While it is true that chats are not equivalent to SMS conversations, this is most likely just a solution for the interim until our platform grows large enough to separate the two. If you have any questions or would like to know more specific details, feel free to ask them here

ok, still you may want to publicize that because it took me forever to figure out where this was coming from and how to disable it... I also wanted to say that's it's not just about logging. The assistant actually texts back the first message to the user like it's on a call, this shouldn't happen...
