Assistant Not Used for Inbound Calls – Default AI Call Occurs

Hello,

I have a published assistant (ID: 6e04e305-d727-4bf9-9fb0-c414eedc1aad) assigned to a free Vapi phone number. In the dashboard, the assistant is correctly assigned, and testing the assistant within Vapi works as expected. However, when integrating on my website and passing both the correct assistantId and phone number id, inbound calls result in a default AI call instead of my configured assistant.

Steps taken:

Verified assistantId and phone number id are correct and match between the dashboard and website integration.
No squadId or workflowId is set.
The phone number is a free Vapi number, not from an external provider.
Changes have been saved and published in the dashboard.
The issue persists despite all correct configuration.
Can you help investigate why inbound calls are not routed to my specific assistant?
