Response issues in phone calls

The AI I created for handling phone calls is having a very serious issue understanding my responses and replying to them. I don't know if it's because my client wants the process in Brazilian Portuguese or if it's something else.

When I make a call, it either doesn't respond to what I said, takes too long to reply, or gives me the wrong answer.

What should I do?

To address issues with understanding and response in Brazilian Portuguese, make sure your assistant is configured with both a transcriber and a voice that support Brazilian Portuguese. For example, set the voice like this:

Switch to Brazilian Portuguese ASR and TTS models, reduce response latency by adjusting endpointing and audio settings, enable multiple ASR hypotheses for better speech recognition, test with real PT-BR inputs..

I've already made those changes, so I think what's happening must be normal. Now the only problem I don't understand is why the call gets disconnected out of nowhere. I increased the call timeout to the maximum, but it didn't change — it would hang up right after answering

Not even the test call is working now. When I make the call using the Twilio number, it doesn't go through, and when I do a test call on Vapi, it also doesn't work — it hangs up within the first few seconds. What should I do?

The call, both test and through the Twilio number, is still disconnected in the first few seconds of the call. I don't know if there is a setting that does this, but I haven't found anything.
