How do "credits" work now?
So, I was away for a bit, and noticed that the billing section is now in "credits"...
What is a credit?
How does it work?
How much is one credit worth?
Why are credits spread out across assistants (10 here, 100 there)?
(eg)...what is 10 or 100 credits?
How do we calculate the cost of a call going forward ($ vs. credits)?

Vapi now uses a credit-based billing system:
You can purchase credits for your account by visiting the updated billing page and specifying the dollar amount you wish to add. This system lets you top up as needed, select add-ons, and reserve concurrency for calls, making budgeting more predictable and scalable.
However, the exact value of a credit, how credits are distributed across assistants, and how to calculate call costs in credits are not detailed in the current documentation.
For more details or specific rates, please check the billing page or contact Vapi support. Sources: - Vapi Changelog November 30, 2024 - Vapi Changelog October 10, 2024

So, that does not answer my questions. Just the fact that credit values are not/documented listed anywhere is telling.
Also everywhere will say (example) "$10 for 1000 credits", or "3 credits per image", not just "buy credits".
The sources date back to Oct and Nov 2024, yet this is the first time I came across "credits", today.
It is dependent on your assistant configuration. If you would like, you can provide a call id with the assistant you would like an estimate for.

That would not help. I have a lot of assistant, and I also have the ability to view the call logs for individual calls, but that's not the issue.
The issue is there is no definition for what a "credit" is...and that should be clear.
I know the team is busy, but it's always the small things that creep up eventually. Just saying, you figure at the least, Pricing would be clear.
I do like Vapi, but whenever things get confusing here I just switch over to my Millis account and setup a new project.
You can view the cost of each call in the call logs section. For example, my assistant costs $0.15 per min.
