Pricing questions
Hi there! I'm on the Vapi Ad Hoc plan at the moment. I have a few questions.
1. I'm seeing that my account has 10 credits applied to it. What can we use these credits for? I initially thought I would use these credits for call minutes. Since I had 10 free credits and 1000 free call minutes, I assumed that 1 credit = 100 call minutes. Did I understand that correctly?
2. The Agency and Startup plans are listed as "Coming Soon". Are these plans available now?
3. In the "Estimate your cost" section of the pricing page, it looks like Vapi covers the cost of TTS/LLM/TTS on the Startup and Agency plans. Am I understanding that correctly?
4. I'm seeing that Ad Hoc plans currently have a limit of 10 concurrent calls. What happens if we go over that limit? On the pricing page, there is a Hosting Surge Cost of + $0.05 / min, so I'm thinking that we will be charged an overage fee but calls will still succeed. Is that correct?
Thanks!

Vapi credits on the Ad Hoc plan are typically used to pay for call minutes and add-ons, with each call minute costing $0.05. However, the documentation does not explicitly confirm that 1 credit equals 100 call minutes. To check your current credit balance and usage, visit your Vapi billing page. For precise details on credit-to-minute conversion, it's best to contact Vapi support directly.

1. The 10 credits on the Ad Hoc plan are monetary and used to cover platform, TTS, STT, and LLM costs—not equal to call minutes.
2. The Startup plan is available via an application, but the Agency plan is still marked as “Coming Soon.”
3. Yes, the Startup and Agency plans cover TTS, STT, and LLM costs.
4. The Ad Hoc plan allows 10 concurrent calls; if exceeded, calls still go through but incur a $0.05/min surge fee.

Vapi credits on the Ad Hoc plan are monetary and can be used to pay for platform usage, TTS, STT, and LLM costs—not directly for a set number of call minutes. The documentation does not confirm a fixed conversion rate (e.g., 1 credit = 100 minutes). For your current credit usage and details, check your Vapi billing page.
