Hi team, I’m planning a campaign and would like some help estimating credits. Volume: ~60 calls per day, about 1-2 minutes each Duration: 5 days Models/Providers: GPT-4 + ElevenLabs Budget goal: below $100 Could you please help me break down the expected costs and suggest any optimizations (e.g., different models or voice settings)? Thanks!

Hi, to check the estimate cost I'll recommend you to check our pricing page where you calculate the cost. https://vapi.ai/pricing

I spoke with support earlier and just want to confirm the breakdown for our upcoming campaign. We’re planning a 300-call campaign, with each call lasting about 1–2 minutes, which totals roughly 600 minutes of conversation. Here’s the cost breakdown I was given: Transcription – $0.006 per minute → for 600 minutes ≈ $3.60 LLM – We’ll be using our own ChatGPT, so please don’t add this cost for us. VAPI Voices – Using VAPI Voices, so there’s no extra cost here. Platform Usage – $0.02 per minute → for 600 minutes ≈ $12 So the total estimate for the full 300-call campaign should be between $33.60 and $51.60. 👉 Can you please confirm this and advise how many credits we should purchase to cover the campaign?

Hi VAPI Support, We’re preparing to launch an outbound call campaign using your platform, and I’d like some guidance on scheduling. Here are the campaign details: Leads: 300 total Duration: 5 days Daily Calls: 60 per day Call Windows (Toronto time): 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. 1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Could you let me know how we can configure VAPI to handle this scheduled calling based on the above requirements? Also, please confirm if there are any limitations or best practices we should follow when setting up time-based calling windows. Thank you, and looking forward to your guidance.

We recommend initiating the calls at 70% capacity of your max concurrency for your account (by default it is 10, so that means 7 calls at once per campaign) While actively monitoring the calls and campaign logs, when the campaign of 7 calls have completed, start another campaign of the same call volume. If you have an estimated call time for each call, you can schedule the campaigns instead of initiating them manually. For example if you have a max call time of 5 min per call, you can schedule your 7 call campaign 10 minutes after your first campaign starts. You can get through your calls faster if you increase your concurrency limit, but with the amount of calls you are looking to accomplish per day you may not need it. With the method mentioned earlier, you will be able to get through almost all 60 calls in your first call window if there are no issues. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out
