Help with Call Transfer. I am having an issue transferring the call.
The call history shows the call is transferred successfully but the call hangs up, and no response. Telnyx confirm that SIP refer is enabled and i see response SIP 202 being received. Yet no call transfer. call id 559bc200-97fb-49f9-ac1f-432e7fe6c55e, assistant ID. 4ba6b751-ca40-40b8-9337-266ba032c321

I understand you're experiencing issues with call transfers where the call appears to transfer successfully but then hangs up, even though SIP refer is enabled and a SIP 202 response is received. Unfortunately, I don't have specific information available to help troubleshoot this scenario further. If you have any additional details or questions, feel free to share them!

I’m also struggling with this. If you use a customLLM as your server URL you point the assistant to, can we still use VAPI’s native tool function calling for transfer call or does it require not using our own custom back end logic for /chat/completions?

@Vapi Team can some body give me a clue where to look telnyx says sip refer is enabled, bot shows calls successfully transferred mid call the recieving end is not getting the call. I see sip reply from telnyx refer 202 in the pcap file.
Hey! To help track down this issue, could you share:
- When exactly this happened (the timestamp)
- What response you expected to get
- What response you actually got instead
This would really help us figure out what went wrong!
