Startup program eligibility
I recently received an email informing me that my startup does not meet the eligibility requirements for Vapi's startup program.
According to the blog (https://vapi.ai/blog/vapi-ai-startups) the eligibility criteria are:
– Companies founded within the last 5 years.
– Startups with funding between $100K and $5M.
– Builders who are actively integrating voice LLM as a core part of their product.
My company meets all of these criteria.
Could you please clarify if there might be any additional requirements or if there was a misunderstanding in my application?
Cheers

Based on the information I found, your understanding of Vapi's startup program eligibility criteria is correct. Since you meet all the stated requirements but were still rejected, I recommend contacting Vapi support directly for clarification. According to available information, you can reach out through:
* Vapi's support email
* Their support portal
* Official documentation resources
* Community forums
This would be the most direct way to understand if there are additional requirements or if there was a misunderstanding in your application.

Hey there, thanks for reaching out. Your startup definitely seems to meet the eligibility criteria listed on our blog. There are no additional criteria we're aware of, so it's possible that the rejection was due to an oversight. I'll escalate your request for a manual review of your application to ensure it aligns with our records.
Can you share your company's business email and website domain name with me? I’ll get back to you as soon as I have more details.

Hey @Duckie @Vapi is the startup program with the offered credits still live? if so what would be the average time to know if my company meets all the eligibility criteria for it?
Hey is this support bot still active? @Duckie
The start-up program is still live, and you can apply it through our website.

can someone help me understand whether my venture applies to the program? @Duckie
The Vapi startup program is currently active, and the main eligibility criteria are:
- Company founded within the last 5 years
- Funding between $100K and $5M
- Active integration of voice LLM
There are no additional criteria mentioned. However, the average review time for applications is not specified.
To help determine if your venture applies, could you briefly describe your company's founding year, funding status, and how you are using voice LLM technology?

I already applied last week, now wondering what it would take to get approved
We're still reviewing your application. Thanks for your patience.

Kyle my partner got an email saying we were not accepted to the program with no clear explanation. Could you kindly lay out the criteria for eligibility? becuase according to what i read regarding the program, we are eligibile. So what am I missing?
I get that this is disappointing. Each startup application goes through a thorough review by our product managers before a decision is made. We do not have the criteria for eligibility as we are the technical team.
Feel free to apply again in a couple of months, and we’ll be happy to reevaluate it.

Got it. Another thing from my end Kyle, I submitted a request to get accesss to the secuirty docs on your website a few weeks ago but haven't heard back since. How do i get the access?
Our team is most likely reviewing your request and will reach out to you when they have an update
equal-aqua•3mo ago
ok cool..the request comes from the following email address eranhe@gmail.com
could you provide a certain timeline on how many days does it take for you guys to review and approve access?
It will take at max 1 week.

Any chance you can help and speed it up Sahil? Our legal team is waiting for these docs so it’s very crucial for our continuity
Hey Sahil any ETA on the matter?
I just checked with the team, and I'm really sorry to say that you're not eligible for the Startup Program. I know this isn't the news you were hoping for.
equal-aqua•3mo ago
Hey Sahil, that's fine with the startup program. Kyle notified me on this. I was referring to having an ETA on getting access to the security docs.
You need to use a valid domain email address for your request, and then it will be approved.
equal-aqua•3mo ago
What do you mean? I submitted with a valid email.
Do you mean business email?
I used this valid email when submitting the access for security docs eranhe@gmail.com...what's the issue with it?
Sure
other-emerald•3mo ago
@YC can you send the company details in DM.
equal-aqua•3mo ago
did you get it? @Sahil

Approved.
