Inbound calls on free numbers not being answered
Assistant is not picking up the incoming calls. It was working till yesterday.

- Configure Prerequisites: Ensure you have a Vapi account, a configured assistant, and a phone number from which to call. You can either use a number imported from a provider like Twilio or a free Vapi number (note that free numbers are limited to US and have daily call limits). More details are here.
- Use the API to Create a Call: Place the outbound call using the
/callendpoint. You'll need to specify theassistantId,phoneNumberId, and thecustomer's phone number. You can find the API call format and example JSON payloads here. - Configuring Trusted Calling Standards: To improve call answer rates, set up proper caller ID and trusted calling standards. Implement STIR/SHAKEN frameworks in your Twilio Console as described here.
- Batch Calling: If you need to call multiple numbers simultaneously, use the
customersparameter to send array details, and you can also schedule these usingschedulePlan.
