Transfer to a Live Agent With Assistant and Customer on the call
Is there any way to initiate a live transfer to an external phone number?
We would like the following behavior:
we are looking for a 3 way conference with an introduction, rather than just redirecting the call to an outside number while having the customer on hold. This would allow us to have the most seamless transfer and ensure that hangups do not occur nearly as often.
We would like the following behavior:
- Transfer is initiated to a phone number located in our VOIP provider directed to a live agent after qualification.
- The assistant and customer are connected to the live agent.
- The assistant gives an introduction to the live agent then leaves the call.
