Alternative knowledge base after trieve?
After sunsetting Trieve on Nov 1, what’s the recommended alternative for a knowledge base? I understand we have two options: building a custom solution or using the query tool with Gemini. Based on my experience so far, Gemini’s performance both in latency and accuracy is significantly worse compared to what Trieve provided.
Hosting Trieve ourselves or creating our own knowledge base solution is not a trivial task (as shown by the number of SaaS companies focusing solely on this area), and it would be preferable if this were provided directly by Vapi. What’s the official stance on this?
