Different BYO SIP Trunk media stream IP address

Hello, We have set up a BYO SIP Trunk and are currently testing inbound calls. According to the call log, the inbound call is successfully received, but during the actual call, the agent’s voice cannot be heard. Upon checking, we found that the media stream IP is 35.89.67.171. Based on the documentation, SIP signaling and media streams should be handled through 44.229.228.186/32 or 44.238.177.138/32, so we configured the firewall to allow these two IP addresses. However, it seems that the media stream is being connected through a different IP address. Could you please advise how we can resolve this issue?

@makemyflights | Ø,G @김민우 VAPI uses the signalling IP numbers to load balance the audio streams and calls to various other servers. When a call is received at these IPs, it will be forwarded internally - and the audio stream may come back from a completely different IP at the end. If you need to pin-down your media and signalling, I suggest that you setup an SBC in a DMZ network on your side to enable it.

@makemyflights | Ø,G I think you are too harsh, every software has its issues here and there - and knowing VAPI, they do alot of work to make sure it good.
