Asterisk based PBX setup
I need assistance with configuring my Asterisk based PBX to work with VAPI AI. A SIP trunk connection is already set up and functioning on the PBX.
Here's the desired call flow:
Incoming Call to PBX: An incoming call arrives at my PBX, destined for extension 1301.
VAPI AI Engagement: When the call hits extension 1301, I want the VAPI AI assistant to answer and interact with the caller.
Customer Request for Transfer: During the conversation, if the customer requests to "transfer the call," the VAPI AI should initiate a transfer.
Transfer to Internal Extension: Extension 1301 (which initially handled the call and sent it to VAPI ) should then transfer the call to a pre-configured internal PBX extension, 1302
