Are background messages supposed to cut off the audio of the bot?

I've asked about this before but still not super clear.

I have a background message that im sending but whenever i do it, the bot just stops and you need to call on it to start again.

What is the way to fix it. I am using the default office background noise, but I don't think this should be an issue.

but you'll notice it says "may I have" and stops and that is when i send it a BG message
