Hosting VAPI Locally

I want to know the requirements for hosting vapi locally. The KB says Docker container on our cloud provider but what other requirments are we looking at?

To host Vapi locally, you need to deploy it as a Docker container on your own cloud infrastructure with access to GPUs. You must control your VPC, configure network/firewall settings, and ensure GPU resources are available. Exact hardware specs and supported GPU models are not detailed in the documentation, so for a full requirements list, it's best to contact Vapi support at support@vapi.ai for tailored guidance.

Hey, You can now deploy Vapi on your AWS server through the AWS Marketplace. Use this link to get started: https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/prodview-tskr3mpoou7is?sr=0-1&ref\\\_=beagle&applicationId=AWSMPContessa. The page will guide you through the process and outline details like hardware requirements. Hosting Vapi on your own server doesn’t remove the base fee. This option works well if you need high compliance, such as for medical, banking, or GDPR regulations, and prefer to use your own infrastructure. The fee will be billed through AWS Marketplace, and there won’t be any interaction between your server and ours.
AWS Marketplace: Voice AI for developers
Vapi lets developers build, test and deploy voice agents in minutes rather than months.

Hey Markus! As of now, we only support on-prem on AWS, not any other providers. But you can raise a feature request for it.
