Can VAPI handle high-volume message routing for large hospitals with 100+ doctors?
I’m currently working with a major hospital in our city that is exploring the implementation of AI-based voice/message agents. We’re evaluating VAPI and I’d like to understand if the platform supports large-scale operations.
Specifically, we’re looking at:
High-volume message handling (hundreds or thousands per day)
Routing and connecting to over 100 doctors, each from different specialties
Possibly scheduling, triage or dynamic conversation flows
Can VAPI handle this scale reliably? Are there any best practices or limitations I should be aware of when building for a healthcare client at this level?
