Prompt updates are not reflected after republishing the agent

I’ve built and deployed a VAPI agent — the setup is working fine. But when I update the system prompt and republish the agent, the behaviour doesn’t change. It still acts as if the old prompt is active.
Has anyone run into this? Is there some caching, delay, or limitation I should be aware of? The prompt size is currently 1283 tokens.
